Classified as one of the "Most Beautiful Villages of France," Candes-Saint-Martin is located opposite the confluence of the Loire and Vienne rivers, on the left bank of the Loire, very close to Montsoreau. This typical Loire Valley village will charm you with its narrow streets adorned with hollyhocks, its grand bourgeois houses built of tufa stone, its slate roofs, and its collegiate church.
